【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscoextrudedcompositedrain,waste,andventpipe(DWV).ThepipeisproducedinSchedule40IPSsizesbyacoextrusiondiesystem,inwhichtheconcentriclayersareformedandcombinedbeforeexitingthedie.1.1.1Coextrudedcompositedrain,waste,andventpipe,DWV,bydefinition,ispermittedtobeproducedwithtwoormorelayers.TheouterlayershallbeABS.ThemiddlelayerispermittedtobethermallyfoamedPVCorsolidPVCorablendofreworkmaterial,asspecifiedinthereworkmaterialsection.TheinnerlayerispermittedtobesolidPVCorABS,orablendofreworkmaterialasspecifiedinthereworkmaterialsection.1.1.2Thefunctionofthisspecificationistoprovidestandardizationofproduct,technicaldata,andserveasapurchasingguide.1.2DWVispermittedtobeproducedutilizingatwolayerorthreelayercoextrusiondie.1.3Materialsthatdonotmeettherequirementsofthematerialsectionareexcluded.1.4PipeproducedtothisspecificationispermittedtobejoinedusingmoldedfittingsmeetingtherequirementsofSpecificationD2661orSpecificationF628.ThefittingpatternsmustcomplywithSpecificationD3311.1.5Pipeproducedtothisspecificationispermittedtobeperforatedinaccordancewithanyspecifiedstandardorbyagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.1.6Pipeproducedtothisspecificationispermittedtobebelledforjoiningbysolventcementingorbelledforjoiningbyanelastomericseal(gasket),inaccordancewithanyspecifiedstandardorbyagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.1.7Recommendationsforstorage,joining,andinstallationareprovidedinAppendixX1,AppendixX2,andAppendixX3,respectively.1.8Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.9Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisspecification.1.10Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.11Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;Specificationsrelatedtothisspecificationareasfollows:SpecificationsD2661,D2665,F628,andF891.
