【摘要】:Cancelsandreplacesthefirstedition(1985).Specifiesamethodformeasuringthenoiseemittedbypassengercarsinmotion.Themethodisbasedonstatisticalstudiesoftheuseofcarsinurbandriving.Thespecificationsareintendedtoreproducethenoiselevelwhichisexceededduringonly5%ofthetotaldrivingtimeinurbantrafficflowofirregularcharacterwhichrequirestheuseofintermediategears.Thetestmethodcallsforanacousticalenvironmentwhichcanonlybeobtainedinanextensiveopenspace.Suchconditionscanusuallybeprovidedfor:typeapprovalmeasurementsofvehicles;measurementsatthemanufacturingstageandatofficialtestingstations.
