【摘要】:Thistestmethoddescribestheproceduretoevaluateorcompare,orboth,thedurabilityofsealantswhensubjectedtoacceleratedweatheringandcyclicmovementinajoint.Sealantinstallationprocedures,designconsiderationsandmovementduringcureaffecttheagingprocessesandarefundamentaltothesuccessofanysealant.Thesefactorsarenotaddressedwiththistestmethod.Theamount,typeandfrequencyofmovementasealantexperiencesduringitslifetimestronglydependsonthematerialsusedinconstructionandontheorientationofthejointtowardsunlightandmanyotherfactorsthatarenotuniformorconsistent.Climaticexposureswilldifferwiththeorientationofthebuildingandshadingaswellaswithlocalandregionalclimaticconditions.Climatesinagivenlocationcanvaryfromyeartoyearbecauseofdifferencesinsolarradiation,temperature,rainfall,andatmosphericconditions.Further,thequalityandintensityofsolarradiationontheearth''ssurfacevarieswithgeographiclocation,season,timeofday,andcloudcover.Variationsinresultsmaybeexpectedwhenoperatingconditionsarevariedwithintheacceptedlimitsofthistestmethod.Therefore,alltestresultsusingthistestmethodmustbeaccompaniedbyareportofthespecificoperatingconditionsasrequiredinSection12.RefertoPracticeG151fordetailedinformationonthecaveatsapplicabletouseofresultsobtainedaccordingtothistestmethod.Theresultsoflaboratoryexposurecannotbedirectlyextrapolatedtoestimateanabsoluterateofdeteriorationcausedbynaturalweatheringbecausetheaccelerationfactorismaterialdependentandcanbesignificantlydifferentforeachmaterialandfordifferentformulationsofthesamematerial.However,exposureofasimilarmaterialofknownoutdoorperformance,acontrol,alongwiththetestspecimensallowscomparisonofthedurabilityrelativetothatofthecontrolunderthetestconditions.Evaluationintermsofrelativedurabilityalsogreatlyimprovestheagreementintestresultsamongdifferentlaboratories.ResultsofthisprocedurewilldependonthecarethatistakentooperatetheequipmentaccordingtoPracticesG154andG155.Significantfactorsincluderegulationofthelinevoltage,freedomfromsaltorotherdepositsfromwater,temperaturecontrol,humiditycontrol,whereapplicable,conditionandageoftheburnersandfiltersinxenonarcequipment,andageoflampsinfluorescentUVequipment.Note18212;Additionalinformationonsourcesofvariabilityandonstrategiesforaddressingvariabilityinthedesign,executionanddataanalysisoflaboratoryacceleratedexposuretestsisfoundinGuideG141.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemethodforthedeterminationofthedurabilityofasealantbasedonitsabilitytofunctionincyclicmovementmaintainingadhesionandcohesionafterrepeatedexposuretolaboratoryacceleratedweatheringprocedures.1.2Thistestmethoddescribestwolaboratoryacceleratedweatheringproceduresforevaluatingthedurabilityofasealant.1.3RILEMTC139x2013;DBSisrelatedtothistestmethod.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafety......

【摘要】:ThispartofISO14577specifiesamethodfortestingcoatingswhichisparticularlysuitablefortestinginthenano/microrangeapplicabletothincoatings.Thistestmethodislimitedtotheexaminationofsinglelayerswhentheindentationiscarriedoutnormaltothetestpiecesurface,butgradedandmultilayercoatingscanalsobemeasuredincross-sectionifthethicknessoftheindividuallayersorgradationsisgreaterthanthespatialresolutionoftheindentationprocess.Thetestmethodisnotlimitedtoanyparticulartypeofmaterial.Metallic,non-metallicandorganiccoatingsareincludedinthescopeofthispartofISO14577.TheapplicationofthispartofISO14577regardingmeasurementofhardnessisonlypossibleiftheindenterisapyramidoraconewitharadiusoftipcurvaturesmallenoughforplasticdeformationtooccurwithinthecoating.Thehardnessofvisco-elasticmaterials,ormaterialsexhibitingsignificantcreepwillbestronglyaffectedbythetimetakentoperformthetest.
