【摘要】:1.1ThispartofISO12086establishesasystemofdesignationforfluoropolymermaterialsthatmaybeusedasthebasisforspecifications.Itcoversthehomopolymersandvariouscopolymersoffluoromonomersusedasdispersionsandformoulding,extrusionandotherspecializedapplications.ThispartofISO12086describesthedesignationsystemandprovidescodesandtablesofvaluesforthedesignatoryproperties.Thedesignationsystemisapplicablebothtoconventionalthermoplasticfluoropolymers,processedbyvarioustechniques,andthosematerialsthatareprocessedbytheuniqueoperationsrequiredforthenon-conventionalthermoplasticpolytetrafluoroethylene.Thematerialsincludeboththefluorocarbonpolymersandthevariousotherfluoropolymersasvirginpolymersorprocessedforreuseorrecycling.ThispartofISO12086alsoincludesanextensionofthedesignationsystemthatprovidesabasisforspecificationofthematerials.Thisbasisforspecificationmaybeusedtopreparespecificationsrelatedtowell-definedapplications.AsexplainedinClause5,thesespecificationswillusedatablocks1to4and,ifnecessary,datablock5asacomplement,thelast-mentioneddatablockcontainingthespecificrequirementsinrelationtotheapplication.Fluoroelastomersarespecificallyexcluded.1.2Fluoropolymersarelong-chainhomopolymersandcopolymersoffluoromonomers.Fluoropolymerscanbemodifiedwithsmallamountsofdifferentfluoromonomers.Ingeneral,providedthepolymerisnotmodifiedwithmorethanfivepercentbymassofmodifyingfluoromonomer(s),itcanbeclassedasthebasepolymer.PVDFisclassedasthebasepolymerwhenitismodifiedduringpolymerizationwithuptotwopercentbymassofadditionalfluoromonomersinthepolymerstructure.ForPTFE,uptoonepercentbymassofamodifyingcomonomeristhelimitforthematerialtobeclassedaspolytetrafluoroethylene.AgeneraldiscussionofmembersofthefluoropolymerfamilyisincludedinAnnexC.ThispartofISO12086isparticularlyconcernedwith,butisnotlimitedto,thematerialslistedin4.2.Theacceptedabbreviatedtermforeachmaterialisincludedin4.2.1.3Thevarioustypesoffluoropolymeraredifferentiatedfromeachotherbyaclassificationsystembasedonthefluoropolymergenusandappropriatelevelsofthedesignatoryproperties,alongwithinformationaboutbasicpolymerparameters,intendedapplicationormethodofprocessing,importantproperties,additives,colorants,fillersandreinforcingmaterials.Designatorypropertiesforeachfluoropolymerareselectedfromthegenerallistin5.4,andthosepropertiestobedesignatedforeachfluoropolymerarelistedin5.7andinAnnexesAandB.1.4ProvisionismadefordesignationofmaterialsinvolvedinreuseandrecyclingofthefluoropolymerscoveredbythispartofISO12086.AsetofdesignatorypropertiesisprovidedforreprocessedPTFEbecauseofitsspecialrequirements.Fornon-virginconventionalthermoplasticfluoropolymers,thesamedesignatorypropertiesasusedforvirginmaterialsareusedwithinclusionofthecodeZ1,Z2orZ3indatablock1asspecifiedinTable1.1.5Itisnotintendedtoimplythatmaterialshavingthesamedesignationnecessarilygivethesameperformance.Theconverseshouldalsobeemphasized,i.e.materialswithdifferentdesignationsmaybesuitableforuseinthesameapplication.ThispartofISO12086doesnotprovideengineeringdata,performancedataorprocessingconditionswhichmayberequiredtospecifymaterialsforparticularend-useapplications(seethediscussiononuseofdatablock5inClauses5and7).Ifsuchadditionalpropertiesarerequired,theycanbedeterminedinaccordancewiththetestmethodsspecifiedinISO12086-2,ifsuitable.
