【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC11518specifiesacontrolforphysicallayerswitchesusingtheHigh-PerformanceParallelInterface(HIPPI),ahigh-performancepoint-to-pointinterfacebetweendata-processingequipment.ThispartofISO/IEC11518doesnotprotectagainsterrorsintroducedbyintermediatedevicesinterconnectingmultipleHIPPI-PHs.ThepurposeofthispartofISO/IEC11518istofacilitatethedevelopmentanduseoftheHIPPIincomputersystemsbyprovidingcommonphysicalswitchcontrol.Itprovidesswitchcontrolstructuresforphysicallayerswitchesinterconnectingcomputers,high-performancedisplaysystems,andhigh-performance,intelligentblock-transferperipherals.ThispartofISO/IEC11518alsoappliestopoint-to-pointHIPPItopologies.
