【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversaluminum-baseandzinc-basemasteralloysusedtomakezincdie-castingalloys.Alloycompositionsspecifiedforaluminum-basemasteralloys(hardeners)aredesignatedasshowninTable1.Alloycompositionspecifiedforthezinc-basemasteralloyisdesignatedasshowninTable2.AluminumalloyhardenersareaddedtoSpecialHighGradezinc(perSpecificationB6)intheproperalloyingratios,asshowninTable1,toproducezincalloysfordiecasting.Zinc-basemasteralloyisaddedtoSpecialHighGradezinc(perSpecificationB6)intheproperalloyingratio,asshowninTable3,toproducezincalloyfordiecasting.Masteralloysmaybesuppliedintheformofshot,bar,ingotorjumboingotasspecifiedbythepurchaser.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsarestandard.TheSIequivalentsofinch-poundunitsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialDataSheetforthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
