【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoversrequirementsforplasticizedcelluloseacetatepropionatethermoplasticcompoundssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Thesecompoundshaveapropionylcontentlessthan48%andanacetylcontentlessthan3%andcancontaindyesandpigments.Cellulosicplasticmaterials,beingthermoplastic,arereprocessableandrecyclable.Thisclassificationsystemallowsfortheuseofthosecellulosicmaterials,providedthatallspecificrequirementsofthisclassificationsystemaremet.1.2Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.OtherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplicationsarespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.1.3Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecalloutspecificationareintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectioncanbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldonlyaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandperformancerequiredofthepart,environmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,fabricationprocesstobeemployed,costsinvolved,andinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassificationsystem.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section11,ofthisclassificationsystem.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
