【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversforgedcarbonandalloysteelflangesintendedprimarilyforpetroleumandgaspipelinesinareassubjecttolowambienttemperatures.IncludedareflangestospecifieddimensionsortodimensionalstandardssuchasthoseMSS,ASME,andAPIspecificationsthatarereferencedinSection2.1.2Supplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforusewhenadditionalrequirementsaredesired.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedindividuallybythepurchaserintheorder.1.3Eightgrades,fouryield-strengthclasses,andthreedifferentnotchtoughnesslevelsareincluded.1.4Theavailabilityofaparticularsizeofflangeofaspecificgradeandclassislimitedonlybythecapabilityofthecompositiontomeetthespecifiedmechanicalpropertyrequirements.However,currentpracticenormallylimitsthefollowing:(a)GradeL1toClasses1and2,(b)GradeL2toClasses1,2,and3,(c)GradeL3toClasses1,2,and3,(d)GradeL4toClasses1,2,and3,(e)GradeL7toClasses1and2,and(f)GradesL5,L6,andL8aregenerallyavailableinanyclass.1.5Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandinSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation(SIunits),thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.1.6Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
