【摘要】:ThesetestmethodsareusedtodevelopdataforcomparisonwiththerequirementsofSpecificationC1438.Standardizedproceduresareusedtocomparethepropertiesofspecimensmadefromtestmixturesofpolymer-modifiedconcreteormortarwiththepropertiesofspecimensmadefromreferencemixtures.Thesetestmethodsarenotintendedtosimulatejobconditions.1.1Thesetestmethodsprovideameansofdeterminingtheeffectofaddingpolymermodifierstoreferenceconcreteormortar.1.2MostsectionsofASTMtestmethodsandpracticesforhydrauliccementmortarandconcreteapplytothepreparationandtestingofspecimensmadewithpolymer-modifiers.However,therearesomeexceptions,mostnotablycuring,thatneedspecialproceduresinordertodevelopthepropertiesinherentwithpolymer-modification.Thesetestmethodscovertheseexceptions.1.3Fortestingpolymer-modifiedmortarandconcretespecimens,theproceduresinthisstandardsupersedethoseinthereferencedASTMtestmethodsandpractices.Thesetestmethodsarenotapplicabletodry,packagedmortarandconcrete.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Warningx2014;Freshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)
