【摘要】:Thisguidecanbeusedtoquantitativelyassesstheintensityofspecificattributesofhairfragrance.Thisguidemaybeutilizedforproductdevelopment,researchguidance,andqualitycontrol.Thesearesuggestedproceduresandarenotmeanttoexcludealternateproceduresthatmayeffectivelyprovidethesameorsimilarresults.1.1Thisguidecoversstandardizedproceduresforthequantitativesensoryassessmentoffragrance/odorintensityorattributeintensityoffragrancesinshampooorhairconditionerbasethroughallstagesofuse(pointofpurchase,lather,inuse,wethairafterrinse,anddryhair)underlaboratoryconditionswithtrainedassessors.Thisstandardaddressestheuseofhairproductsandtheequipmentneededtousetheseproducts.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
