【摘要】:ThispartofISO18213describesproceduresfortankcalibrationandvolumedeterminationfornuclearprocesstanksequippedwithpressure-measurementsystemsfordeterminingliquidcontent.Specifically,overallguidanceisprovidedforplanningacalibrationexerciseundertakentoobtainthedatarequiredforthemeasurementequationtoestimateatank’svolume.Thekeystepsintheprocedurearealsopresentedforsubsequentlyusingtheestimatedvolume-measurementequationtodeterminetankliquidvolumes.Theprocedurespresentedapplyspecificallytotanksequippedwithbubblerprobesystemsformeasuringliquidcontent.Moreover,theseproceduresproducereliableresultsonlyforclear(i.e.withoutsuspendedsolids),homogeneousliquidsthatareatboththermalandstaticequilibrium.

【摘要】:Compressiontestsprovideinformationaboutthecompressivepropertiesofplasticlumberandshapeswhentheseproductsareusedunderconditionsapproximatingthoseunderwhichthetestsaremade.Inthecaseofsomematerials,therewillbeaspecificationthatrequirestheuseofthistestmethod,butwithsomeproceduralmodificationsthattakeprecedencewhenadheringtothespecification.Therefore,itisadvisabletorefertothatmaterialspecificationbeforeusingthistestmethod.Table1inClassificationD4000liststheASTMmaterialsstandardsthatcurrentlyexist.Compressivepropertiesincludemodulusofelasticity,secantmodulus,compressivestrength,andstressatagivenstrain.Inthecaseofamaterialthatfailsincompressionbyashatteringfracture,thecompressivestrengthhasaverydefinitevalue.Inthecaseofamaterialthatdoesnotfailincompressionbyashatteringfracturenorexhibitsacompressiveyieldpoint,thecompressivestrengthisanarbitraryonedependinguponthedegreeofdistortionthatisregardedasindicatingcompletefailure.Manyplasticlumbermaterialswillnotexhibitatrueyieldpoint.Compressivestrengthcanhavenorealmeaninginsuchcases.Forplasticlumber,thestressatagivenstrainof3%(0.03in./in.(mm/mm))istypicallyused.Compressiontestsprovideastandardmethodofobtainingdataforresearchanddevelopment,qualitycontrol,acceptanceorrejectionunderspecifications,andspecialpurposes.Thetestscannotbeconsideredsignificantforengineeringdesigninapplicationsdifferingwidelyfromtheload-timescaleofthestandardtest.Suchapplicationsrequireadditionaltestssuchasimpact,creep,andfatigue.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthemechanicalpropertiesofplasticlumberandshapes,whentheentirecross-sectionisloadedincompressionatrelativelylowuniformratesofstrainingorloading.Testspecimensinthex201C;as-manufacturedx201D;formareemployed.Assuch,thisisatestmethodforevaluatingthepropertiesofplasticlumberorshapesasaproductandnotamaterialpropertytestmethod.1.2Plasticlumberandplasticshapesarecurrentlymadepredominantlywithrecycledplastics.However,thistestmethodwouldalsobeapplicabletosimilarmanufacturedplasticproductsmadefromvirginresins,orwheretheproductisnon-homogenousinthecross-section.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothistestmethod.
